The Fulbright Malaysian Scholar Program offers Malaysian scholars the opportunity to teach, conduct research, or undertake professional projects at a host institution in the United States. The program fosters academic exchange and international collaboration in support of Malaysia’s national development.

Ideal candidates are Malaysian professors and academics with a strong sense of how their work contributes to Malaysia’s growth and a commitment to sharing their U.S. experience with students, peers, and the wider community upon return.

Applications are slated to open from 4 August until 30 September 2025.
