The Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program offers a fully funded nine-month opportunity for early-career educators to teach Bahasa Melayu at a college or university in the United States. The program aims to promote cross-cultural understanding and strengthen foreign language instruction in U.S. institutions.

Open to Malaysian citizens with less than seven years of full-time teaching experience, the program welcomes applicants from fields such as English, Bahasa Melayu, humanities, tourism, and literature.

Applications are open from 14 May until 16 July 2025.
