The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Malaysia presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia and has the honour to kindly inform that the  Republic of Uzbekistan  has announced the allocation of three (3) scholarships for citizens of Malaysia to pursue graduate studies at the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Samarkand for the Academic Year 2022-2023. In this regard, all qualified students are invited to apply for this scholarship and submit your documents to the International Relations Division Office at Level 14, Ministry of Higher Education, Precint 5, Putrajaya before or on 8 August 2022 or email directly to This email address is being protected from spambots. All eligible students with bachelor degree who are interested to undergo for one year Master’s degree program are welcome to apply the following field:
• Logistic in tourism;
• Tourism (by field of activity);
• Museum studies;
• Management of cultural heritage;
• Creative industry;
• Archeology.

The grants covers the following expenses:
• Return airfare (Economy class) to Uzbekistan;
• 500 USD (equivalent) monthly stipend and 100 USD (equivalent) for dormitory expenses;
• 100 USD (equivalent) will be allocated for each trip (twice a year) to Uzbekistan’s ancient cities with the purpose to explore the country’s culture, architectural riches and become acquainted with its diverse tradition and history.
